Workouts don’t necessarily red to be complicated. If you’ve read my earlier blog this week, you will know that the simplification of my gym plan has gotten me great results.\
Callisthenics (or body weight exercises) is one of the best ways to make an exercise routine adaptive to your fitness level. Aside from some exercises (like pull-ups), most body weight exercises have the ability to make easier by simply making a few quick alterations.
The RYPT Personalised online fitness package is focused around videos that have full demonstrations of how to make it progressive or regressive with each and every exercise.
The beauty about body weight exercises is that you are truly in control, these can be included at the start of the session or intermittently to suit your ability.
Obviously if you perform an Internet search or watch videos of callisthenics then you will get an extreme of individuals who are heavily into their fitness.
Being sensible and progressive about your workouts will result in a tangible improvement in your strength, health and wellbeing.
Body weight exercises are nothing to fear. If you don’t enjoy press-ups then simply perform them against a wall rather than on the floor (or avoid them if your truly hate them). After all, fitness should be a choice and not mandatory.
There are so many exercises that sticking to the same ones (that you hate) will severely limit your capacity to progress further with your fitness goals.
